This position is Full-Time, Monday thru Friday, 8:00am-5:30pm, no nights, no weekends!
Pay Range: Starting at $18.00-$30.00 per hour DOE
Service Mechanic/Technician Job Duties
- Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on Gas and Diesel Buses and Vans
- Services and repairs on equipment such as engines, transmissions, brakes, air compressors, fuel systems, ignitions, HVAC, and Wheelchair lifts
- Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify all heavy-duty components
- Positive interface with service writers, foreman, parts department, and customers
- Keep paperwork updated and handed in upon completion
- Meet requirements for certifications
Service Mechanic/Technician Desired Qualities/Skills
- Technical degree or certification a plus
- Experience working with diesel engines and/or heavy-duty trucks
- Experience with Cummins Diesel or Detroit Diesel is preferred
- The desire to take advantage of certification opportunities to have the most updated product training Solid written and verbal communication skills
