Job Title: Graduate Mechanical Engineer

Location: Foster City (onsite 5 days)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineering graduate to join our team. This role involves contributing to the design, development, testing, and implementation of mechanical systems and components. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, a passion for innovation, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Development:

• Assist in creating and improving mechanical systems, components, and products using CAD software.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop innovative solutions to technical challenges.

1. Testing and Analysis:

• Conduct tests on prototypes and analyze data to ensure functionality, efficiency, and compliance with specifications.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during the design and manufacturing process.

1. Research and Innovation:

• Investigate materials, technologies, and methods to enhance product performance and sustainability.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to contribute to continuous improvement.

1. Documentation and Reporting:

• Prepare technical reports, manuals, and specifications for internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of design changes, test results, and project progress.

1. Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including suppliers and clients, to meet project goals.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials science.
• Experience with project management tools and techniques.

The salary range provided for this contract role represents our good faith estimate for this position. Within the range, individual offers will vary based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, location and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process (W2 or C2C).
