Agile Coach/Project Manager
Long-Term Rolling Contract
Work location: Alameda, CA (Onsite - NO remote work)
Responsibilities:
- Provide agile coaching to internal product teams, comprised of IT and Business team members. The agile coach may be embedded in a team to help it achieve a level of proficiency and independence.
- Conduct agile maturity assessments, including interviewing, assessing agile and team artifacts, and observing agile team practices
- Consult and provide guidance to Agile teams on continuous improvement of their agile processes using Jira and advise on how to optimally configure Jira projects
- Assist with documenting good agile processes and guidelines
- Perform as a project manager to organize and facilitate progress on important Enterprise IT initiatives such as metrics, information governance, AI governance, and Agile Community of Practice
Successful candidates will have:
- Extensive experience and successful track record of coaching agile teams with varying levels of maturity
- Mid-level project management experience, 8 years of IT experience with the majority in a project leadership or project management role
- Excellent verbal and written communications and proficient with communicating with all levels of an organization from engineers to executives
- Strong working knowledge of how to use and configure Jira Software
- Highly collaborative and team-oriented work ethic
- Experience with product management for Enterprise digital products -- desired
- Experience using Aha! roadmaps - desired
The salary range provided for this contract role represents our good faith estimate for this position. Within the range, individual offers will vary based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, location and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process (W2 or C2C).
