We are looking for a skilled and experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial production equipment, ensuring continuous operation through preventive and corrective maintenance. This role requires a self-motivated, safety-oriented individual with a positive attitude and the ability to manage responsibilities independently. The candidate must be flexible with their schedule, as hours may vary based on the needs of the company. The ideal candidate will understand that maintenance provides a crucial service to the production team, contributing to the overall success of the operations. Maintenance Technician Requirements and Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of industrial maintenance experience, including corrective/breakdown experience.
- Knowledge: Thorough working knowledge of industrial equipment, safety procedures, and maintenance practices.
- Skills:
- Self-motivated, responsible, and safety-conscious.
- Proficient in using standard tools and techniques to solve maintenance problems.
- Positive "can-do” attitude with the ability to manage time and responsibilities independently.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some Saturdays as needed. Standard hours are from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm.
- Attendance: Strong attendance record is essential.
- Leadership: Supervisory and leadership experience preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal functioning of industrial equipment.
- Repair and maintain a wide range of industrial production equipment, including but not limited to:
- Mechanical
- Electrical
- Pneumatics
- Hydraulics
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, with or without the use of schematics and prints.
- Work with various components such as AC/DC drives, HMIs, starters, contactors, and relays.
- Conduct diagnostic tests and resolve issues using precision measuring tools.
- Dismantle and repair equipment using hand tools, hoists, cranes, and power tools.
- Inspect and assess used parts to determine dimensional requirements and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintain equipment continuity by ensuring both preventive and corrective maintenance actions are followed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and ensure adherence to safety procedures at all times.
- Ensure compliance with safety rules and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Document actions and irregularities, and schedule corrective actions as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 7 years of manufacturing maintenance experience in an industrial or military environment.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
- Ability to work in a loud/noisy, hot, humid, and greasy environment.
Valid driver's license required
