The Product Engineer Assistant supports the Product Engineering team by performing a variety of tasks including data collection, analysis, and reporting. Expect extensive involvement in assisting with semiconductor IC failure analysis, data analysis experiments, engineering reports generation, and work process documentation.
This opportunity is designed to provide extensive training and development opportunities, preparing the assistant to transition into a full-fledged engineer role in the future.
Required Skills
Familiarity with fundamental electrical concepts such as Ohm's Law
High attention to detail as required for precise data analysis and root cause investigation
Excellent note-taking skills and ability to produce concise status updates on current work activities
Working proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong understanding and application of the Action-Priority Matrix
Strong, proactive desire to learn and pursue a career in Engineering
Desired Skills
ATE Level Experience (Test/Product) on Agilent 93K (or equivalent)
SOC/Digital Video/Ethernet/Router design/Board level and IC level debug
ATE Software and Test Program Debug
RCCA
Failure Analysis/Reliability
Team Leadership
Desired Education
Certification in Electronics or Semiconductor industry focus.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field
Desired Years of Experience
1 year or more of experience in product development or other operations engineering support role
