Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The Security Officer will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of the premises through effective monitoring and response strategies.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, conducting thorough investigations as necessary.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and property damage.
- Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing de-escalation techniques when necessary.
- Operate surveillance equipment including CCTV systems to monitor activities within the facility.
- Provide first aid and CPR as needed during emergencies.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities for record-keeping purposes.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required to ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter potential threats and reassure clients and employees.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is advantageous.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential security risks.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must possess a valid security officer license or certification as required by local regulations.
- A commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
