Overview
We are seeking a skilled OBIEE Snowflake professional with expertise in Supply Chain Management (SCM) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data analytics, database design, and data warehousing. This role involves leveraging advanced analytics tools and technologies to drive insights and improve decision-making processes within the organization.
Duties
- Develop and maintain OBIEE reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for SCM operations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data analysis.
- Design and implement data models in Snowflake to support complex analytical queries.
- Utilize linked data concepts to enhance data integration across various sources.
- Perform database design activities, ensuring optimal performance and scalability of the data warehouse.
- Analyze large datasets using Python and Java to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies relevant to supply chain processes.
- Work with Apache Hive and Spark for big data processing and analytics tasks.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize existing reports for efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience with OBIEE reporting tools and Snowflake data warehousing solutions.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in linked data concepts, analytics, database design, and data warehouse methodologies.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python and Java for data analysis tasks.
- Experience working with big data technologies including Apache Hive and Spark is preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets effectively.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings clearly.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: Up to $65.00 per hour
