We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer with experience in PLC programming and a strong background in electrical systems. This role is essential in designing, developing, and maintaining control systems that enhance automation and improve efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach and be comfortable working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Develop, program, and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs ) and Remote Telemetry Units (RTUs).
- Design and implement electrical control systems, including hardware schematics and panel layouts to successfully integrate with STREAMETRIC software.
- Configure and integrate STREAMETRIC with 3rd party SCADA applications such as VTSCADA, Wonderware, etc.
- Collaborate with development engineers, support teams, and project managers to ensure successful proposal or bid creation.
- Conduct system testing, validation, and debugging to ensure functionality and performance. (remote or on-site)
- Optimize and maintain existing control systems to improve reliability and efficiency.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, control schematics, and operating procedures.
- Ensure all systems comply with relevant safety and industry standards.
- Provide technical support and training to internal teams and operators as needed.
- Travel is expected to perform project startups, troubleshooting, or site visits. (30%)
REQUIREMENTS
Base salary range : $75-85k (Commensurate with Experience)
Bonus and Full Benefits
Location : Raleigh, NC (mainly onsite)
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
