Join our team here at i2M as a Maintenance Technician(this opening is for our night shift maintenance team, the schedule for this position is 7:00PM-7:00AM 4 days on 4 days off) and provide services to ensure that all electrical systems, wiring and equipment remain functional on our production equipment.

As a Maintenance Technician:
You will rely on your ability to multi-task as you work in a fast-paced environment to keep our company operational. Build your technical skills as you work closely with team members, handling orders in an efficient manner and determining which ones to prioritize. Your organizational skills will also be required as you ensure that you have sufficient supplies to handle routine maintenance tasks and can quickly get other supplies as needed to reduce downtime.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
- Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.
- Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
- Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straight edges.
- Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
- Keep records of all maintenance and repair work conducted, including a record of any supplies ordered and used.
- Ensure all routine maintenance work is handled on a regular schedule to reduce the risk of larger and more complex issues and to reduce costs.
Job Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in Maintenance (mechanical background preferred)
- Ability to work in a fast pace production environment a must
- Strong verbal and oral communication skills
- As a Maintenance Technician for our night shift team * you will be working from 7pm-7am on a rotating shift schedule that is 4 days on and 4 days off. You will work both weekdays and weekends *
