Conference Coordinator

Job Description:

• Design, implement, and support conference room systems integrated with Microsoft Teams and Webex.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and external contractors for AV/VC room installations and upgrades.
• Deploy and manage Teams Room Systems (MTR) including hardware like Logitech, Crestron, Poly, or similar.
• Support Webex Room Devices and manage configurations via Webex Control Hub.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for conference room AV systems, including connectivity, audio, video, and user interface issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation on room configurations, software versions, hardware inventories, and support incidents.
• Ensure network compatibility and security compliance of conferencing systems.
• Train users and stakeholders on effective usage of Teams and Webex-enabled rooms.
• Monitor system performance and apply updates and patches as necessary.
• Recommend and implement new collaboration technologies and best practices.

Technical requirements:

• Proven experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) and Webex Room Devices deployment and support.
• Strong knowledge of AV technologies including displays, cameras, microphones, speakers, and control systems.
• Familiarity with network fundamentals (IP, DNS, firewalls) as it relates to AV/VC solutions.
• Experience with platforms like Microsoft 365, Exchange, Webex Control Hub, and Teams Admin Center.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and timelines.
• AV or IT certification (e.g., Crestron, Cisco, Microsoft, AVIXA CTS).
• Knowledge of room scheduling and integration with Outlook or Microsoft Exchange.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
