Job Summary:

The Sales Director at Cygnus will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by leading sales strategies for Reach Remote Support software and the No Roads OEM map tile technology. This role focuses heavily on building and managing strategic partnerships, particularly with Enovation Controls and other Helios sister companies, to integrate both Reach and No Roads mapping technology into their hardware offerings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the industrial hardware/software integration market, the OEM market for embedded mapping technology, and the ability to collaborate effectively across different business units within a larger corporate structure of Helios Technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for Reach and No Roads OEM mapping solutions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the OEM market, particularly in off-road vehicles, marine, and mobile equipment.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
  • Forecast sales performance and provide accurate sales projections.
  • Collaborate with partners to develop joint sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Reach and No Roads technology.
  • Provide technical presentations and demonstrations to potential OEM clients and partners. Build and maintain strong relationships with key OEM clients, distributors, and partners.
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Represent Cygnus at industry events and conferences.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the team to achieve sales targets.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field (engineering, computer science, business, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of the OEM market and the integration of software and hardware solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client and partner relationships.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets within the OEM space.
  • Experience with CRM software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling SaaS solutions and embedded technology to OEMs.
  • Existing relationships with OEMs in the off-road vehicle and outdoor recreation sectors.
