SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Manage and direct the day-to-day employee activities in the Technical Support Group. Assign and dispatch the Technical Specialists.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead/supervise the team members and activities; assign, schedule, and follow up tasks; perform all duties of Technical Specialist.
- Implements and follow up on policies and projects as directed by Customer Support and Management.
- Travel as required.
- Performs functions of Team Member, when needed.
- Ensures that all duties are carried out in the most cost-effective and timely manner.
- Communicates with other Team Leaders, Management, departments, and customers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE):
- Acquired knowledge/education/experience/expertise in supervision; installation of hardware and software; troubleshooting and repair of hardware and software.
- Good communications, customer service and leadership skills.
- Working knowledge of appropriate Operating Systems, hardware, and software; able to diagnose problems; repair or replace equipment; scheduling skills.
