JOB TITLE : Sales Support Representative
DEPARTMENT : Enterprise Solutions - Business Development-Sales Support
REPORTS TO : VP of Sales - Enterprise Solutions
JOB LOCATION : Remote (U.S. Based)
TRAVEL : This position requires 20% travel to customer sites throughout North America
SUMMARY OF POSITION : Provides support functions to the Sales Department, with the objective of moving the opportunity effectively and efficiently through the closing stages of the sales cycle.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Completes or assists, within established turn-around times, in the fulfillment of all transaction related functions, such as proposal generation, statements of work, configuration request, order processing requirements, and order status updates.
- Communicates with customers on behalf of the Sales Team in the following capacities - gathering additional information to complete configuration requests, configuration revisions, proposals, and / or required order fulfillment information.
- Responds promptly and effectively to all customer requests.
- Proactively communicates with sales force on all sales support activities within a given sales opportunity.
- Maintains complete and accurate records of any assigned activity or customer contract in CRM system.
- Remains current on product knowledge, technology trends and advancements.
- Liaison for customers and Sales Team among other internal departments.
- Works with Accounting as needed to research, clarify, and reconcile invoice and payment issues.
- Projects as assigned by Manager.
