JOB TITLE: Sr. Solution Consultant – Corporate Utilities Technical Consultant

REPORTS TO: Corporate Utilities Director
JOB LOCATION: Remote (US Based)
TRAVEL: Up to 50%
The Senior Technical Solutions Consultant will have expertise in web application development and a passion for leading a team of experts. This role involves defining and managing technical project operations to ensure the successful delivery of client product implementations. As a Senior Technical Solutions Consultant, you will collaborate with technical leads, project managers, architects, the product team, and developers (including offshore teams) to deliver ePortal Implementation projects aligned with the defined scope, timeline, and budget.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accurately estimate work and provide solutions to technical challenges for the eProtal implementations.
- Manage eProtal implementations projects and task execution with developers (onshore & offshore) and project management teams.
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert for technical issues and guide developers, functional consultant and testers.
- Being a front end Technical single point of contact for the customer for the eProtal implementations projects.
- Collaborate with architects to define and scope technical requirements.
- Establish and implement the best practices in coding, application development, architecture design, and testing.
- Monitor project performance, resolve impediments, and implement solutions for improvement.
- Plan and coordinate program-wide software/architecture releases.
- Maintain transparency with teams and stakeholders on challenges, failures, and successes.
- Conduct regular software demonstrations for stakeholders upon feature releases.
- Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to define and implement integration strategies.
- Participate in requirements gathering, design, and development reviews.
- Provide knowledge transfer and technical guidance to clients on best practices.
- Ensure quality of deliverables using proven testing methodologies.
- Document procedures and provide detailed instructions for client hand-offs.
- Report project status to management and stakeholders.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE)
- 8 years of hands-on experience in development and project planning.
- Proficiency in API, microservices, and event-based software development.
- Strong expertise in responsive web front-end/single-page application development using
- Angular or React. Angular is preferred
- Proficiency with technologies such as Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Java, J2EE, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience in developing/consuming REST and SOAP APIs, with tools for documentation.
- Hands-on experience with continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Artifactory, Gradle).
- Exposure to testing frameworks, code quality, and security scanning tools.
- Working knowledge of AWS services and integrations.
- Experience with authentication protocols and services (e.g., Okta, OAuth, Azure AD).
- Familiarity with integrating systems like Oracle Cloud applications and SAP.
- Proficiency with source control management tools (e.g., Git/GitHub).
- Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to cross-functional teams.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Familiarity with project management tools like Jira and Azure DevOps.
- Experience with documentation tools like Confluence and SharePoint.
- AWS certifications.
