Responsibilities
- Oversee the nursing management team to ensure efficient operations and high-quality patient care.
- Support and uphold the organization's philosophy of care across all programs and units.
- Monitor performance and operations through monthly reports, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
- Serve as a key liaison between physicians, patients, referral sources, and staff, fostering effective communication and coordination.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a post-graduate degree in nursing or a related field (e.g., healthcare or business administration); or equivalent knowledge and skills, or a written plan to obtain these qualifications.
- Licensure: Active, unencumbered nursing license.
- Certifications: CPR Certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) required within 30 days of employment and prior to patient interaction.
- Previous experience in a psychiatric healthcare setting is required, with preference for experience in chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric care. Strong skills in patient assessment, family dynamics, treatment planning, and external review coordination are essential.
- Prior leadership experience is strongly preferred.
