Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining care standards in the emergency room.
- Able to assess patients quickly, prioritize, and assist in minor procedures.
- Manage the patient check-in process, the performance of triage work for doctors, and assisting
- Communicate with doctors and patients to keep everyone updated on test results and treatment
- Collaborate with laboratory personnel and report lab findings back to ER doctors.
- Assist in the care of traumas, cardiac arrests, strokes, sexual assaults, and conscious sedation.
- Demonstrate sound decision-making in emergency situations based on the conditions of
- Provide RN care for all ER patients, as well as handling of intubations, defibrillations, auto

- 1 year of Acute Care ER experience Required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- If a candidate has 3 or more years of experience as an RN and if they have their compact license (They’ll still need to apply for the FL license) we can consider and move forward.
- If a candidate has less than 3 years of RN experience, they’ll need to take the NCLEX in FL and once they pass we can consider (This is if candidates do not have a FL RN License)
