JOB TYPE : Full-Time Permanent
Job Summary :
We are currently seeking a Behavioral Health Advocate to plan and provide assistance to the elderly population regarding reports of abuse / neglect. Coordination of appropriate protective services plans, crisis reports, and compliances.
Responsibilities :
Completes investigations of the abuse allegations, risks to elders, and their needs
Completes Competency Evaluations
Pursues legal counsel and / or advise through legal
Provides community education
Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive materials and information at all times.
Provides appropriate mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions to address the needs of patients.

Requirements :
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, required
Knowledge of community resources
Comfortable with high risk situations
Valid driver's license
