Job Description :
The Applications Analyst III is a senior-level business and technology specialist responsible for aligning technology solutions with business strategies. This role involves identifying opportunities to improve business processes through technology, advising stakeholders on system functionalities, and acting as a liaison between technical teams and vendors. The analyst serves as an internal consultant, providing expertise on complex projects and strategic planning.
Responsibilities :
- Understand business processes and technical requirements.
- Communicate complex technical concepts in business-friendly terms.
- Manage multiple projects in a cross-functional environment.
- Provide technical guidance and problem-solving across various business areas.
- Document technical solutions and processes effectively.
- Collaborate with IT teams, end-users, and vendors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of the Infor data model is a plus.
- This role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with experience in IT-driven business process improvements.
- Previous experience in business process re-engineering or process improvement is desirable, involving broad-based information systems and utilizing tools and techniques to effect business change.
- Experience in the strategic use of technology in managing and growing a business.
- Experience in organizing, planning, and executing projects from vision through implementation, involving internal personnel, contractors, and vendors.
- Implementation, configuration, and upkeep of financial and budgeting systems.
- History of data analysis and reconciliation.
