Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement and monitor behavior intervention strategies based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including therapists, educators, and family members, to ensure cohesive care.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide training and support to staff and caregivers on behavioral therapy techniques and strategies.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Stay current with advancements in behavioral health practices and medical terminology relevant to patient care.
Requirements
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis techniques and principles.
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, patient care, medical documentation, and behavioral health practices.
