Job Description :
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiographer X-Ray Technician to join our healthcare team in Pensacola, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient care.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures as ordered by physicians while adhering to established protocols and safety standards.
Operate and maintain radiographic equipment to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety.
Position patients correctly to obtain accurate imaging results while ensuring their comfort and safety.
Evaluate and verify images for diagnostic quality before submitting them for interpretation.
Adhere to radiation protection standards to minimize exposure to patients, self, and staff.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational policies.
Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Monitor and maintain equipment performance, reporting any malfunctions for timely repair.
Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients during imaging procedures.
Qualifications :
Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
Current state licensure to practice as a Radiographer in Florida.
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred.
Excellent technical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
Knowledge of radiation safety and imaging protocols.
