Job Summary :
The Clinical Nursing Manager is responsible for the management of clinical nursing practices and patient care delivery on the assigned unit(s). The role functions include management of human, fiscal, material, support and systems resources while achieving and maintaining the goals of a unit or department by focusing on the unit or department's daily operations. The Clinical Nursing Manager role demonstrates a high level of integrity, willingness to take on new challenges and prioritizes associate engagement. This position consistently promotes a positive work environment by being visible and available to all levels of staff and customers. The Clinical Nursing Manager supports associate development needs with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education.
Responsibilities :
- Oversight to daily operations in the department
- Oversight of operational efficiencies such as on-time starts and turnovers
- Development of staff member to practice at the top of their license by providing growth opportunities
- Communicate case changes to staff, support, and coach staff to build confidence and growth.
- Assist in the development and implementation of educational programs / practices for department associates.
- Supporting staff to have the correct tools and resources to complete their job roles
- Support positive growth in service lines

9 OR Suites-1 dedicated labor and delivery suite. Labor Delivery attends C-Sections
Approx. 20-30 cases per Day
Schedule- Full Time- 40hrs / week- Variable schedule per surgical volume and needs of unit- typically 5x8hrs.
No call required but may need to fill in on occasion to cover for team if need arises
