PART TIME - Youth Sports Instructor / Official
Under the direction of the Site Manager, the Youth Sports Instructor / Official is responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports experience for players and coaches. The Youth Sports Instructor / Official will need to build relationships with players, parents, and coaches while making sure that the instructional aspects of the i9 Sports Experience are delivered. Observing, assessing, and assisting our coaches is paramount. The position entails hands-on involvement with practices and games among all age groups and skills levels.
Duties
- Set up and break down youth sports fields and general venue accommodations
- Provide coaching and instruction in youth sports disciplines, including soccer, flag football, and baseball.
- Foster a positive learning environment by utilizing effective coaching techniques.
- Collaborate with staff and coaches to ensure the successful implementation of the i9 Sports experience
- Monitor player progress and provide feedback to enhance their skills and development.
- Engage with students to promote health club activities and sports coaching initiatives.
- Develop relationships with students to encourage participation in physical activities and promote overall well-being.
Qualifications
- Must enjoy and have experience working with kids ages 3-13 in a recreational setting.
- Must be fun, playful, energetic, and enthusiastic with superior customer service skills.
- Must be vocal, outgoing, and possess excellent communication skills
- Must be confident and capable of interacting with parents and be able to take charge of any situation that involves the safety of players
- Must have a strong background in physical education or related fields, with skills in soccer, flag football, baseball, or general sports coaching.
- Must be able to work SATURDAYS during the entire season (6 weeks, Start time from 8am), up to 5 Seasons / Year.
- Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver license. Must pass a background check.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
