ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Rulebook Expert: Ensure a fun, educational, and safe environment for all players by thoroughly understanding and enforcing the i9 Sports rulebook.
- Sportsmanship Champion: Promote fair play and positive values by actively teaching and demonstrating core sportsmanship concepts.
- Field Management Pro: Efficiently set up and break down practice and game equipment.
- Time & Scorekeeper Extraordinaire: Keep accurate time and score during games, tailoring instruction and competition to suit the players' age group.
- Inspiring Coach: Consistently demonstrates a positive attitude and provides exceptional customer service to players, families, and colleagues.
- Team Player: Support volunteer coaches by leading drills, answering questions, and fostering a collaborative coaching environment.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Master Communicator: Effectively connect with players, coaches, and spectators through clear, positive, and engaging communication.
- Sport Savvy: Possess at least 2 years of experience as a player, coach, or official in the specific sport.
- Self-Directed Problem Solver: Demonstrate initiative and the ability to tackle challenges that arise during practices and games independently.
- Safety Guardian: Prioritize player safety through proactive awareness and decisive action in any situation.
- Positive & Collaborative: Maintain a cheerful and encouraging attitude while building strong relationships with players, coaches, and families.
- Flexible Player: Demonstrate the ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and evenings, for the full season (approximately 7 weeks).
- Tech-Ready: Possess a smartphone with internet access.
- Safety Commitment: Must successfully pass a National Criminal Background Check.
