Job Summary
The Youth Sports Coordinator is responsible for delivering a great sports experience for kids and parents on game days. From coaching and high-fives, to equipment set up and organizing, to refereeing and game management, you'll have a blast teaching kids the fundamentals of sport!
The Youth Sports Coordinator is responsible for delivering a great sports experience for kids and parents on game days. From coaching and high-fives, to equipment set up and organizing, to refereeing and game management, you'll have a blast teaching kids the fundamentals of sport!
Responsibilities
- Assist parent volunteer coaches in leading practice sessions with kids ages 3-14 focusing on fundamentals and skill development across multiple sports.
- Facilitate and referee games - understand rules, keep score and time, focus on player improvement, be vocal and have a coaching mindset!
- Teach & demonstrate the i9 Sports Sportsmanship values
- Engage with kids and parents with a positive attitude and deliver a fantastic customer experience
This is a Good Fit If You...
- Have experience working with kids
- Are skilled at delivering positive customer service - are you high energy, positive, upbeat!?
- Have knowledge and experience in one or more of the following sports: soccer, flag football, baseball, and/or basketball
- Able to work Weekends in Petaluma
