Are you passionate about sports and enjoy working with youth athletes? We seek reliable and experienced Youth Soccer LEAD to join the i9sports dynamic team on Sundays and Saturdays, 8am-3:15 pm. We want to hear from you if you have a strong understanding of flag football rules, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to ensuring fair play!
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of officials, ensuring games are on time, staff is well trained, provide breaks, and provide conflict management.
- Cultivate a culture with staff, players, and coaches
- Officiate flag football games for youth teams, ensuring a safe and fun environment for all participants.
- Enforce game rules and regulations to maintain fair and competitive play.
- Make accurate and timely calls during games, displaying a comprehensive knowledge of flag football rules and mechanics.
- Maintain control of the game and handle any conflicts or disputes that may arise in a professional and respectful manner.
- Collaborate with coaches and other officials to address any concerns and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
- Be punctual and reliable, showing up for scheduled games and assignments on time and fully prepared.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills and act as a positive role model for young athletes.
- Uphold the values of sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect throughout all interactions with players, coaches, and spectators.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Soccer referee is essential.
- Management Experience is needed
- Thorough knowledge of flag football rules and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate decisions clearly and confidently.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to handle on-field situations efficiently.
- Dependable and punctual with a commitment to attending scheduled games and events.
- Ability to work well with children and maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
- Officiating certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Flexibility in working weekends and evenings during the season.
