The Camp Nurse/EMT supports and oversees camper and staff health and wellness. These responsibilities include caring for sick and injured campers, dispensing medication, responding to emergencies, reviewing camper health records an maintain health logs. The Camp Nurse/EMT will also follow most campers throughout the day – Ex: to help with staff to camper ratios, cover lunch breaks, and to help with recreational activities.
Additional Responsibilities:
Build positive nurturing relationships with campers.
Build cooperative relationships with coworkers, supervisors and parents.
Engage with campers in a way that fosters character building.
Uphold the i9 Sports values.
Qualifications:
Must be a current EMT or RN/LPN with current CPR, AED & First Aid Certifications
Must be available to attend camp trainings before and during camp season.
Able to bring a patient, caring, responsible, flexible and positive attitude to work.
Position Specifics:
Camp season runs 07/01/2024 through 08/09/2024 and must be able to work the entire camp season.
Pay range $22 - $24hr depending upon experience.
Hours are Monday through Friday during camp weeks, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
