What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Tennis Instructor position at i9 Sports?
The Tennis Instructor will assist in providing expert instruction in our Instructional Tennis Programs. In some cases the Instructor will lead smaller groups during practices. The Coach/Instructor should have a strong understanding of the Net Generation program developed by USTA and their red, orange and green ball models (i9 Sports will provide information if needed) for kids ages 5-17. The Instructor will bring positive energy to the court to help ensure everyone is having a great i9 Sports Experience! The instructor will also need to be able to manage his/her court to ensure practices (and matches - if applicable) are started on time and run to the i9 Sports standard. The Instructor will be required to work with our volunteers to "officiate" any matches played.
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated SELF-STARTER with HIGH ENERGY that has the ability to motivate and lead others. Must ENJOY working with children as young as age 5. 7 years of experience in playing or coaching tennis is a required.
95% of the working hours are on Saturdays.
