Job description
i9 Sports is hiring a Volleyball Instructor in preparation for our Spring Season and beyond. This is a paid position for adults ages 18 and up. It requires working 3-5 hours on Saturdays. All shifts are on Saturdays only, and we can schedule around any Saturdays you are not available.
QUALIFICATIONS:
This position is responsible for the integral part of monitoring sports activity, making sure all rules are followed and the game is played fairly.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enforce the rules of the game
- Ensure programs start on time
- Ensure safety
- Assist with set-up/clean-up of the court and help the team with other sports set-up/clean-up
- Attend all staff meetings and training as required
- Understand and enforce the i9 Sports rules books ensuring a fun, learning, and safety for all players
- Teach and demonstrate core concepts including sportsmanship values
- Manage an age-appropriate level of instruction and competition
- Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 18 years old with some experience working with school-age children
- Cleared criminal history and fingerprint check
- Experience in coaching and playing Volleyball
- Have transportation to and from the location
- Ability to work a varied work Saturdays (for the full duration of the season, ~7 weeks)
