i9 Sports is seeking a Vice President of Franchise Performance. The VP of Franchise Performance oversees the development and implementation of the strategies and initiatives to improve unit-level economics and support franchisee success. This individual brings a “lead with yes” mindset that focuses on identifying and driving growth opportunities. The VP of Franchise Performance serves as a key liaison between the home office and the franchise network, ensuring that perspectives are heard and shared, with an emphasis on business success and collaboration.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing strategies to drive unit level economics and franchisee profitability. Will increase visibility into unit-level results, and facilitate regular meetings to analyze and discuss results.

  • Actively collaborate with Marketing and Operations leadership to develop and implement the playbooks required to execute at the unit level.

  • Hire, develop, and lead a team of success-driven Franchise Business Coaches (FBC) to support franchisees in the operational success and growth of the business. Will inspire and instill accountability for the FBC team to execute growth plans.

  • Establish credibility with franchise network, earning the opportunity to influence franchisees to embrace the programs and initiatives provided by the home office to drive growth. .

  • Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency and productivity, reduce costs and increase profits at the unit level.

  • Own the Operations Manual, ensuring it reflects the current brand standards and operational framework.

  • Drive franchisee engagement by leveraging all available tools, including; our annual conference, franchise business coach calls, weekly email communications, Town Hall meetings, webinars and other touchpoints.

  • Lead the franchisee expansion process, developing and implementing criteria and critical steps for supporting expansion.

  • Evaluate and make necessary adjustments to franchisee scorecard.

  • Serve as the main point of escalation for franchisee concerns.

  • Maintain and enhance the brand's system for effective location evaluations and enforcement of brand standards.

  • Consistently uphold and represent the brand's core values.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience driving business performance.

  • Highly motivated, self-starter with strong work ethic

  • Exceptional collaboration skills. A team player with a great attitude who will take on challenges and adapt as needed

  • A “lead with yes” growth mindset

  • A desire to learn the business and to take personal responsibility for success

  • Flexible and able to balance competing priorities with limited supervision

  • Experience with P&L tracking

  • Experience with creating and implementing a strategic plan

Required Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience driving multi-unit business growth

  • Past success managing business performance and growth through scorecards and KPI’s performance management.

  • 5-10 years of experience in leading a team

  • Demonstrated ability to influence others

  • Understanding of youth sports trends and program execution

  • Competitive mindset – hit targets, find ways to win with others

Salary : $130,000 - $160,000
