Youth Basketball Instructor

We're looking for Basketball Instructors to work on Sundays with 4-15 year olds!

The Basketball Instructor will lead in providing fun instruction in our Youth Basketball Programs at the University of Richmond. The Instructor should be an expert on the game rules for each age/grade division, provided by i9 Sports. The Instructor will take the lead in the weekly instruction and in some cases the Instructor will support our volunteer coaches on the court to make sure proper instruction and attention is given to the players.

The Instructor will bring positive energy to the court to help ensure everyone is having a great i9 Sports Experience! The Instructor will need to be able to manage his/her court to ensure practices and games are started on time and run to the i9 Sports standard. The Instructor will be required to "officiate" the games each week.

The ideal candidate will have a basketball background and experience working with kids or coaching. Must be a highly motivated SELF-STARTER with HIGH ENERGY that has the ability to motivate and lead others. Must ENJOY working with children as young as age 4. Must have the ability to teach basic basketball fundamentals in a manner that's fun and encouraging to our players. Patience is important when working with the younger players.

95% of the working hours are on Sunday morning and afternoons.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
