Multi-Sport Official and Coach

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Coach and Referee to officiate youth basketball, Soccer, Flag Football games. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the game, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage conflicts effectively. This role is crucial in ensuring fair play and maintaining a positive environment for young athletes.

Duties

• Officiate Soccer, Flag Football and or basketball games, ensuring adherence to the rules and regulations of the sport.
• Communicate clearly with players, coaches, and spectators regarding calls and game conduct.
• Manage conflicts on the court, addressing any disputes or issues that arise during gameplay.
• Maintain a professional demeanor while promoting sportsmanship among players and teams.
• Collaborate with coaches and sports coordinators to ensure a smooth flow of games.
• Provide guidance and support to young athletes, fostering their love for the sport.
• Setup and bread down of field setup

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Soccer, Flag Football and or basketball rules and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
• Proven conflict management skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Experience in sports coaching or officiating is preferred but not mandatory.
• Previous experience working with children in a sports setting is highly desirable.
• Ability to make quick decisions and maintain authority on the court while encouraging teamwork and respect.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.02 - $17.40 per hour
