Job Description
Are you passionate about technology and enjoy helping others? Join our dynamic team as a Help Desk Technician! You will play a crucial role in supporting our service and business objectives by assisting users, resolving incidents, and contributing to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Frontline Support: Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking assistance with IT tools and technologies.
- User Assistance: Collect feedback, provide advice on best practices, and ensure user satisfaction.
- Diagnostics & Follow-Up: Produce diagnostics, maintain relationships with requesters, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Collaboration: Work with IT teams to resolve problems and escalate issues as needed.
- Documentation: Maintain and update service tickets, improving documentation and knowledge bases.
- Task Management: Evaluate and manage efforts and schedules for assigned tasks.
- Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to the exchange of technical knowledge and continuous improvement within the team.
- Project Participation: Provide technical advice to designers, solution architects, analysts, and developers as required.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent from a four-year college or university.
- Experience: 2-3 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Office applications, excellent organizational skills, and strong communication skills (phone, email, and in-person).
- Availability: Willingness to provide support outside of regular working hours and work in-office three times a week.
