Investment Banking Analyst

IA Global Capital is a fast-growing boutique investment bank with offices in New York and London. We provide M&A, capital raise and corporate finance advisory services to technology companies, globally. Our team is expanding quickly, and we are looking to add an Analyst to our New York City office. This position is ideally suited for a candidate looking to build experience in TMT M&A and corporate finance.

Role:

• Financial and data analysis
• Assist in the preparation of company business plans
• Analyze companies’ financial statements, performance, and trends
• Develop complex financial, operating, and transaction models
• Prepare presentation materials and market research of relevant sectors
• Create pitchbooks for presentation to IAGC prospects spanning market & transaction environment, company key selling points, potential buyer and investor universe, valuation support, and process alternatives
• Create client marketing materials including confidential information memorandums, management presentations and valuation materials
• Support global marketing efforts
• Identify, track, and manage prospect outreach in key technology segments
• Assist with the creation of marketing materials including IAGC credentials and market updates
• Opportunity to specialize in a focused field of technology (fintech, cyber, IoT, cloud, etc.)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, ideally in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Computer Science, Business or Economics
• Professional and client-oriented, ‘can do’ attitude
• Ability to work independently with a high level of attention to detail
• Prior work experience in corporate finance, corporate development or transaction services preferred
• Understanding of corporate finance and M&A
• Proficient in using Excel and PowerPoint

• The base annual salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000. The firm offers competitive total compensation with variable compensation tied to both individual and firm performance. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, and certifications
