The goal of adding this position to the lighting design job family is to provide more focused technical support to project lighting designers. This position is ideally suited to technically-oriented individuals who are interested in mainly focusing on the documentation and analysis parts of the lighting design process. This role could be seen in some ways as being the lighting design equivalent of a job captain, and is also meant to provide a more efficient means of ensuring high quality documentation, as opposed to distributing technical tasks and responsibilities among our pool of senior lighting designers, which has not proven to be cost-effective.
Summary of Position
- Working with lighting designers and Senior Dir. of Lighting Design, the Lighting Applications Specialist provides technical support to the lighting design team throughout all project phases.
- The position will be a hybrid role and can be located in SF Bay Area, Silicon Valley, LA, or SoCal
