Certification Details BLS Job Details Med / Surg position at Iowa Methodist Medical Center Common Diagnosis / Treatment : sepsis, respiratory failure, DKA Nurse to Patient Ratio : 1 : 5 Number of Beds : 21-30 Job Requirements Must have valid state licensure BLS certification required Other certifications may be required within 48 hours Schedule Information Shift Times : 12N Hours per week : 36 or 48 Weekend Requirement : Every third Float Requirement : as needed in skillset Additional Details EMR : Epic experience required Flu and COVID vaccine required, medical or religious exceptions are accepted All travelers will need to float to all floors at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, Iowa Lutheran Hospital and Methodist West Local travelers will have a 10 percent reduction to rate Clinicians will need to have one year of previous successful travel assignment
