We are looking to hire a Trauma Program Manager As a Trauma Program Manager at MercyOne, you will that under general supervision, and on a 24-hour accountability basis, plans, manages, coordinates, and evaluates the care provided in the assigned area of responsibility. Provides leadership to ensure operational effectiveness of trauma services within MMC’s Emergency, Trauma departments, evaluates special projects related to Primary Stroke Center clinical practice and certification. Upholds operations and services to facilitate maximum quality, cost efficiency and productivity. Is instrumental in promoting quality of life for patients, personnel and the community served. Schedule: Full Time 40hrs a week, Day Shift General Requirements: Maintain an RN license to practice in the State of Iowa. Requires a minimum of three to five years relevant work experience in care of the injured. A minimum of two years of management experience preferred. Completion of National certification in relevant field expected within one year of hire. Must complete a minimum of 16 hours trauma related continuing education per year. Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills, presentation skills, advanced analytical skills, be well organized and maintain a highly professional manner and appearance. Strong interpersonal, consultative and relationship building skills to initiate and develop productive collaborative partnership with all levels of leadership across the organization. Ability to effectively influence results, garner support and tactfully manage complex relationships within and across the organization. Extremely high level of diplomacy and tact are required. Ability to read the subtle nuances of situation and react/plan accordingly. Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment. Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.
