Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Radiology/Laboratory Tech. As a Radiology/Laboratory Tech at MercyOne, you will be responsible for performing radiologic procedures as scheduled by physicians and for conducting routine lab tests used in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Receives, collects, identifies, and labels specimens. Draws blood from patient for blood lab tests. Prepares patients for radiologic procedures. Takes X-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety. Develops and processes radiologic film. Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:30- 5pm General Requirements: Completion of clinic laboratory training within six months of taking this position. Limited license for radiology required. Is able to communicate effectively with all members of the health care team. Is able to perform a variety of duties characterized by frequent change. May be requested to travel within the Siouxland region. When assigned to travel, a valid drivers license and proof of insurance will be submitted to manager prior to travel. Education: Completion of course in radiologic technology approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Laboratory experience preferred.
