Employment Type: Full time Shift: Description: Build and nurture strong relationships with referring physicians, medical groups, hospitals, and other healthcare providers to facilitate patient referrals. Proactively identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and referral sources to expand our patient base and drive revenue growth. Collaborate as requested with internal departments, to develop targeted strategies and materials to effectively communicate our services' value proposition to referring physicians and healthcare partners. Meet with referring physicians regarding new physician introduction, new services, referral methods, patient education materials and other related collateral materials. Assist in the utilization of MercyOne services by increasing and maximizing referrals. Additionally identifying and developing non physician referral sources as requested. Facilitate timely resolution of physician issues and concerns. Assist in organizing educational events, seminars, and presentations for referring physicians and their staff to increase awareness of our medical practice's capabilities, specialties, and services. Maintains open and positive communication with staff, physicians, other hospital departments and others. Prepares in coordination with Marketing/Communications provider videos, printed and other promotional materials. Designs, prepares and implements orientation itineraries /tasks tailored to clinic and clinician’s mutual needs. Coordinates and facilitates communication with all stakeholders involved in orientation and training to create a seamless, consistent, positive experience for the new clinician. Includes: coordinating with the appropriate leadership to prepare staff and facilities; scheduling training and education sessions; promoting a welcoming atmosphere; coordinating systems and technology access; facilitating mentor relationship; identifying community resources (housing, schools, employment, etc.), securing other “welcome” resources and communications for clinician and/or family. Acts as the liaison with MercyOne to facilitate the orientation and orientation process of physicians and providers to facilities and service lines. Coordinates and conducts follow up interviews with each new provider at 2/6/12 month post hire. Identifies trends and makes recommendations as appropriate. Facilitates the provider exit interview process. Identifies, supports and helps to design resolution to issues related to physician or provider satisfaction or retention; recommends methods to improve and streamline related processes; subject matter expert in relation to specific clinician employment needs. Represents Mercy and the network affiliate hospitals as an employer of choice. Facilitates the New Provider Reception and retention events. Applies strategic understanding to complex problems and issues. Identifies and helps resolve physician, systemic and/or specific service delivery problems; recommends methods to improve and streamline services. Articulates an understanding of the service line/department business goals, strengths and opportunities. Actively promotes cross-team collaboration and information sharing. Analyzes data to identify process gaps and performance triggers that require attention. Participates as requested and as available in MarComm/MercyOne sponsored activities. Serve as member of MercyOne RHM patient transparency committee MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree required. At least three years of experience working with Physician Recruitment, Health Care Management, Health Care Human Resources. Ideal candidate shall have experience with direct provider contact, community resources, and previous health care marketing experience. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Excellent written/oral communication skills. Self-motivation, creative problem solving and proven ability to multitask. Maintaining pleasant and professional demeanor with both physicians and the community.
