JOB SUMMARY
IAC Ltd. provides a wide-range of repair services to helicopter main and tail rotor blades. We currently have an opening for Quality Assurance to support helicopter rotor blade repair and development activities.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Assist in maintaining the established AS9110 and AS9100 quality system.
- Review and edit quality documents such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions.
- Conduct internal quality system audits per audit schedule to ensure compliance of requirements of quality system.
- Perform inspections such as Receiving, In-process, and Final inspection.
- Perform dimensional inspections using measuring instruments such as rulers, calipers, micrometers or coordinate-measuring machine (CMM) .
- Perform First Article Inspection.
- Maintain equipment Calibration schedule.
- Work with all functional areas to resolve quality issues and assure compliance with regulations, company standards, and customer requirements.
- Provide internal training on quality system requirements, processes, and procedures for new and existing employees.
- Conduct nonconformance investigations and make recommendations for corrective and preventative actions.
- Assist with the analysis of trends and metrics to ensure continuous quality improvements
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes.
- Frequently interact with leadership, direct manager, internal customers, and cross-functional peers across company to gain alignment on sound quality decisions.
- Coordinate special projects as assigned.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Adhere to internal policies and procedures.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Quality Management System (QMS) experience (AS9100/AS9110).
- Associate's degree and 4 years professional experience in related field
- Expert level in MS Office Suites
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to pass drug test
- Must be a U.S. citizen
