Now, we need a Safety & Compliance Specialist to keep the magic running smoothly and safely!
As our Safety & Compliance Specialist, you’ll be the guardian of our team and operations, ensuring we stay compliant, safe, and ahead of the game. Think of yourself as the superhero of safety, keeping everything in check while fostering an environment where excellence thrives.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance Expert: Stay sharp on health, safety, and industry regulations. Make sure our operations are always on point with legal guidelines and company policies including but not limited to HACCP, FDA, USDA and OSHA.
Audit Guru: Perform regular inspections and audits like a pro, sniffing out hazards and ensuring protocols are followed.
Policy Architect: Help develop and refine safety policies that set the standard for excellence in the food service world.
Training Champion: Design and lead training programs that empower our team with skills and safety know-how.
Incident Investigator: Be the detective who gets to the bottom of accidents, implementing proactive measures to prevent future mishaps.
Documentation Whiz: Keep detailed and accurate records of audits, inspections, training sessions, and more.
Requirements
What You Bring to the Table (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a safety and compliance role (bonus points if it’s in food service or catering!).
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and other safety standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle challenges head-on.
- Stellar communication and interpersonal abilities — you’re a team player who knows how to lead.
