What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bus Purchasing Manager position at IAK TECH GLOBAL?
Responsible for the procurement of transit vehicles that are purchased in a cost effective and efficient manner.
Work with management to identify current inventory needs
Manages list of desired vehicles the company wants to purchase
Maintains fleet inventory log; ensures information is current and up to date
Utilizes all available resources to identify and engage vendors of transit vehicles
Inspect and accept vehicles for purchase; add to inventory
Required Skills & Experience:
Ability to travel
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of purchasing experience
Related training or equivalent with heavy trucks or buses
Understanding of the procurement life cycle from sourcing through vendor management
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
