Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Cosmetology Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for educating and training students in various cosmetology techniques and practices, ensuring they acquire the skills necessary to excel in the beauty industry. This role requires a deep understanding of cosmetology principles, hands-on experience, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
Duties
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state standards and industry best practices.
- Educate students on a variety of cosmetology techniques, including but not limited to:
- - Trigger point therapy - Esthetic laser treatment - Eyelash extensions - Barbering - Dermabrasion - Hair threading - Makeup application
- Provide hands-on training and demonstrations to enhance student learning.
- Assess student performance through practical evaluations and written tests.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, techniques, and products.
- Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the classroom setting.Skills
- Strong knowledge of cosmetology practices and techniques.
- Proficiency in teaching methods and educational best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $15.00 - $21.05 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed
Supplemental Pay:
- Bonus opportunities
