Key Responsibilities:
- Transport Goods: Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
- Route Planning: Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules and minimize fuel consumption.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition. Report any issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Compliance: Adhere to all federal, state, and local driving regulations and company policies. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance records.
