The Role and Opportunity : We are seeking Estheticians specializing in facial services to join our growing team who will perform each service in a safe and sanitary environment in compliance with our service protocols. While not required, in addition to facials our ideal candidate may also have experience with or an interest in sugar and wax hair removal, natural eyelashes, eyebrows or eyelash extension services. Our Estheticians will receive hourly base pay plus commission for services performed and retail sales. Additionally, this is a new role and would be perfect for someone who wants to make an immediate impact on our client experience, have access to paid training and continuing professional education, and continue to grow and expand your skillset and career.
Requirements
Responsibilities :
- Provide a thorough consultation with each client before every service to analyze the condition of their skin and to understand their preferences and desired outcomes
- Perform K-Beauty facials of varying durations in accordance with salon protocols and standards, including skin extractions
- Utilize salon tools and equipment, including electric esthetician tables and steamers
- Sanitize tools and equipment to maintain a safe and sanitary work environment
- Educate each client and provide recommendations on how to properly develop or enhance their skincare routine based on their lifestyle, and suggest suitable products for home aftercare as necessary
- Engage with clients as a subject matter expert in your field while having a thorough understanding of all related products
- Attend required trainings and meetings with a focus on compliance of policies and procedures to ensure the salon is operating in a safe and sanitary environment
- Comply with and enforce salon policies and standard operating procedures
- Review processes and procedures to identify areas of improvement throughout the salon on an ongoing basis
- Participate in the daily morning and closing line-up meetings
- Review and update client records, including inserting proper notes in client records for future tracking
- Meet performance metrics and review results with the Salon Director to ensure career growth and development
- Collaborate with peers and develop internal and external cross functional partnerships with other service providers, vendors, Experience Coordinators and the Salon Director
