Catering Supervisor Job Duties and ExpectationsYou will support the Catering Manager in successful Catering and Event operations, ensuring that you can meet company standards for food quality and customer service. Your primary responsibilities will be to work with the manager to ensure successful new hire training, using training guides and passports; place food/product orders; and assist with stocking the off-site event stands. You will also provide input on staffing, staff performance, and scheduling.

• Able to direct, develop, and motivate employees.
• Able to prioritize, plan, and self-manage time.
• Exercise good judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, especially in fast-paced situations.
• Able to load, drive, and unload the company van at off-site event locations around Milwaukee and the surrounding area.

• Have 1 years of shift leadership experience at Ian's Pizza or in the food industry.
• English language proficiency is required for this position.
• Must be 18 to apply.
• Must pass the driver eligibility check and have a valid driver's license.
• Have reliable transportation to and from catering and event locations.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods.
• Able to bend, crouch, and lift up to 50 lbs repetitively, regularly.
• Able to use hot ovens, pizza cutters, and other equipment of the business.

Catering Supervisor SchedulingThis position is 35-40 hours per week: about 30-35 hours in operations/on-shift, and about 5-10 hours on administrative tasks and meetings.9-5 is a Dolly Parton song, not a job at Ian's Pizza! We expect the Supervisor to be available for high-demand shifts such as evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays. Our Catering Season is from April through October. In the off months, November-March, the expectation is that to hit full-time hours the Catering Supervisor would work some offsite events but supplement their hours with in-store shifts as well.
