Job Summary:
As a 1099 Handyman Technician with Scoutworks, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and installation services to our clients. This independent contractor position requires a versatile skill set to handle jobs of varying complexity, from simple repairs to more extensive renovation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of handyman services including, but not limited to, carpentry, light plumbing, light electrical repairs, painting, drywall installation and repair, and door repairs.
- Assess job requirements, provide estimates, and procure materials necessary for the completion of tasks.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship, ensuring all work is completed to the satisfaction of the client and complies with all safety and building regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet or exceed their expectations.
- Manage scheduling and timely completion of projects, maintaining flexibility to accommodate emergency repairs or urgent client requests.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, time spent, and materials used for billing and reporting purposes.
- Continuously update skills and knowledge in relevant fields to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Provide timely and accurate status updates to ScoutWorks regarding the service request and / or project.
