Responsibilities
The Production Technician reports directly to the Production Manager and is responsible for overseeing and assisting with cultivation, harvesting, processing, and packaging cannabis products. Key responsibilities include performing cultivation activities, monitoring growing conditions, participating in the harvesting process, operating equipment, maintaining accurate records, and conducting routine inspections.
Additionally, you will follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and compliance with industry standards and regulations. Your ability to work collaboratively with the cultivation and production teams is crucial for seamless coordination and efficiency in production workflows.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must be twenty-one years of age or older, have a High School diploma or equivalent, and consent to a criminal background check. Knowledge of state-specific cannabis laws and regulatory compliance is non-negotiable.
You should be able to work independently, coordinate multiple tasks, and prioritize work effectively. Reliability and meticulous organizational skills with acute attention to detail are essential. Proficient oral and written communication skills, as well as computer literacy, are also required.
