What are the responsibilities and job description for the PMP Vehicle Maintenance Technician position at IAP?
At IAP LLC, the PMP Vehicle Maintenance Technician will perform the maintenance, repair, and improvements to the vehicles.
Essential Duties:
- Perform manufacturer required maintenance on vehicles.
- Observe all safety precautions when driving vehicles to and from work area.
- Perform maintenance checks outside.
- Assist team members to assure quality is maintained during maintenance checks.
- Work with an electronic device (Tablet) to perform and note issues on maintenance vehicles.
- Maintain a clean and hazard free work environment and follow all policies and procedures regarding safety.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- SHIFT: Monday – Friday 6:30am-3:00pm with the possibility of overtime and/or weekend work as directed by business need.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED OR 1 year work experience with no more than 2 employers
- Valid US Driver’s License
- Obtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Badge) issued by the Department of Homeland Security
- Drive both automatic and standard vehicles
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Proven problem-solving abilities
- Deadline and detail oriented
Physical Attributes:
- Lift, push, and or pull up to 50lbs including maneuvering of 30lb compressor
- Stand, bend, and or kneel throughout shift
- Work in confined spaces / congested quarters
- Work exposed to outdoor elements such as heat, cold, rain, and or any other conditions out of doors
