Our skilled nursing facility is seeking an experienced full-time Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON).
The Assistant Director of Nursing ADON will play a critical role in supporting the Director of Nursing in overseeing the nursing department and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing the nursing department to ensure the highest level of care for patients.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to promote professional growth and development.
- Monitor and evaluate nursing practices to maintain compliance with regulatory standards and promote quality improvement initiatives.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and excellence in patient care.
Qualifications and Skills
- Active state RN license
- Experience in a management position at a SNF or long-term care facility
- Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of nursing practices and procedures
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
