Our Illinois skilled nursing facility, an easy commute from Terre Haute, is seeking a full-time Medical Records / Transportation Coordinator.
Responsibilities
- generate & sustain medical record files
- review, sort, scan charts
- compile, file & organize medical records and information into patients' medical records
- arrange medical transportation for patients medical appointments
- maintain all transportation details
- schedule appointments for maintenance of vehicles
Qualifications and Skills
- familiarity with fundamental medical terminology
- must have one year experience in a health care related field
- experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred
- must be organized and able to work well with others
- maintain confidentiality
- having a CNA certificate is a plus
- must have a high school diploma (or equivalent)
